Good Morning!
I hope everyone had a wonderful summer vacation :) I just wanted to let you know that I will be working out of Central Office this school year, so the format of this blog will eventually change to suit the needs of my new position.

LA 8C -- We finished watching Rudy today in class. If you have been absent and have missed parts of the movie, please rent it to catch-up. Alternatively, you may come down to my room at 12:20 to watch the portions you've missed.

Tomorrow is Track/Activity Day! Attendance is mandatory for all students, so please dress appropriately for the weather, bring sunblock (even if it is cloudy), a water bottle, a healthy lunch, and get ready for some exercise!

LA 8C -- Literature Circles Skills Quiz is on Tuesday; please use the What to Study list you created yesterday during the exam preview to review. As well, if you are missing any LA assignments, please hand them in on Tuesday, as well.

LA 8B and 8C -- Your Character Sketch Assignment is due on Friday.

Social 8B -- Your Conquistador letter/project is due on Tuesday. Remember, tea staining isn't necessary, but does add an authentic touch to your project.

Science 8B -- You wrote your Unit 2 Exam 2nd chance today at lunch (if you chose to participate in the bonus mark opportunity). Please have your parent/guardian sign the exam by Tuesday. Also, your Topic 2 workbook is due today (most of you finished in class).
