Social 8B -- Bring your headphones tomorrow, as we will continue to word process our legend final drafts tomorrow. If you are not done your rough draft, then you should finish it for tomorrow.

All students -- Tomorrow is picture day. Remember to do your hair and polish your pearly whites!

Social 8B -- Your legend rough draft is due tomorrow. Also, don't forget your headphones!

Tuesday's Work . . . .

LA 8B and 8C -- Chapter 2 Vocabulary and Comprehension questions are due tomorrow.
Science 8B -- Please finish the analysis questions for our "Classifying Mixtures" lab.

Remember, picture day is on Friday -- you'd better get your beauty sleep! :)

Monday's Work . . . .

Social 8B -- Please complete your Japanese legend web, if not finished already.
PG 6 -- Your "Cyber Bullying and Safety" title page is due on Thursday. Remember to meet the following 5 criteria we decided on in class:
1) Lots of colour 2) Key words relating to topic 3) Correct spelling 4) Title in big letters
5) Pictures relating to topic (all five criteria need to be your neatest and best work).

8B students who had a lunch "date" with me -- be sure that you finish any character profile work, or Science work that you didn't finish at lunch.

Over the weekend . . . .

There is no homework over the weekend, with the exception of those LA 8 students that have yet to complete their character profiles assignment. I will be doing a check on Monday (Tuesday for 8C) to see that they are complete!

LA 8C -- Chapter 1 Vocab is due tomorrow -- be sure to record definitions that fit the context used in the novel.

Please remember that your course outlines (signed by your parent/guardian) are due on Monday, September 10.

Grade 8 L.A. students -- your baseline writing assessments are scheduled for the following days:
8B -- Friday, September 7
8C -- Tuesday, September 11
Remember that you do not have to study for these assessments as they show me where you are right now, without having had any instruction this year. However, please remember to bring your pocket dictionary, thesaurus, blue/black pen, pencil, and editing pen to the assessment.
