Friday is Jersey Day!

Social 8B -- Editorial analysis is due Monday. Don't forget to think about your worldview project format; you will be writing your project proposals on Monday. As well, please remember that your worldview quiz is scheduled for Wednesday.

Pop Culture 8 -- Please bring old magazines/newspapers to class.
All Students -- Tomorrow morning all JEL students will be writing their baseline writing assessments. My LA students (8B and 8C) should bring the following supplies to school:
1) pens/pencils
2) correction pen
3) pocket thesaurus (and dictionary, if you have it)
4) plenty of clean, lined paper

All students will also be participating in our school's Terry Fox Run on Friday. Students are asked to bring a $2 donation for cancer research.

I was really excited to meet all of my students yesterday -- I think we're going to have a great year together and I am anxious to get started. Please remember the following due dates:

8B, 8C, Pop Culture 8 -- Signed course outline forms are due on Monday
LA 8B and 8C -- Letters of introduction are due tomorrow (Friday)
Social 8B -- Signed movie notes are due no later than Friday (if your note is not returned, you may not watch the film).
Science 8B -- Your Unit 1 bulletin board poster is due tomorrow (Friday)

ALL JR. HIGH STUDENTS -- Option sign-up sheets are due on Friday. Remember, we can't accept forms that are not signed by your parent/guardian. Any students who have not returned their form by Friday will have their options selected for them.
