Social 8B -- Renaissance Final Exam is scheduled for Monday, February 9.
LA 8B and 8C -- "All Summer in a Day" story extensions are due on Monday.
Science 8B -- Complete your topic 6 workbook.
Pop Culture 8 -- Please have your course outlines signed for Tuesday.

LA 8B -- Complete the following tasks for "All Summer in a Day":
1) Hand-out questions (first page)
2) Story extension planning (second page)
3) 2 paragraphs of your story extension

Social 8B -- Chapter 4 worksheet is due tomorrow.
Science 8B -- Topics 4/5 quiz is scheduled for tomorrow. In class today, you created a personalized study list as you previewed the quiz -- use it to study tonight!

LA 8C -- "The Hockey Sweater" assignment is due tomorrow.
Science 8B -- Topic 5 workbook is due tomorrow. Your topic 4/5 quiz is scheduled for Thursday.
Social 8B -- Ch. 4 worksheet is due Thursday.

LA 8B and 8C -- Short story terminology posters are due tomorrow.

All grade 7/8 students -- Please remember to get your Step Out Safely Program letters signed and returned by Monday.

LA 8B and 8C -- Your completed essays for The Giver are due tomorrow. You must have the final copy of your essay ready at the BEGINNING of class tomorrow, as I will not permit students to print during our class period.

LA 8B and 8C -- You had your final work periods to finish publishing your essay for The Giver (most of you were able to finish your essays and hand them in). Completed essay assignment packages are due at the BEGINNING of class on Thursday.

Social 8B -- Your hot seat interviews began today and, WOW, were they ever fantastic! Any remaining interviews will be completed in class tomorrow.

Science 8B -- Please finish your Topic 4 worksheets for tomorrow (most of you were finished at the end of this morning's class).
Social 8B -- Renaissance Hot Seat Interviews begin tomorrow. Please practice responding to your Hot Seat questions so that you are prepared!
LA 8B and 8C -- Today, we began word processing our essay final drafts. You will have tomorrow's class to finish typing your work. All completed essay assignments are due Thursday.

LA 8B -- Essay rough drafts are due at the end of tomorrow's period 1 class. Your Peer Editing Workshop will take place during period 7.
LA 8C -- The first 3 paragraphs of your essay draft are due tomorrow. The finished draft will be due on Friday.
